Junior Tennis Clinics
Five Seasons offers tennis clinics beginning the first week of
September
and running in increments of 7 weeks per session, until the end of
the
year. Following is a list of the days and times offered, as well as
a brief
description.
Munchkins

Munchkins
Mondays 6:00-6:30 pm and Thursdays
12:30-1:00pm
Our Munchkins class is for 4-5 year olds with little or no previous
instruction. We will work on Hand-eye coordination, racquet skills,
and
basic strokes. There will be fun on court games as well. (1/2 hr.)
Little Tennis
Tuesdays and Fridays 4:30-5:30 pm, Saturdays
10:30-11:30 am
Our Little Tennis class is for 6-7 year olds with little or no
previous
instruction. We will work on basic strokes, movement skills, the
serve
and hand-eye coordination skills in a fun environment. (1 hr. )
Jr. Tennis Stars
Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 pm, Fridays 4:30-5:30 pm,
Saturdays 11:30-12:30 am
This class is for 8-12 year olds with little or not previous
instruction. We
will work on basic strokes, footwork, racquet skills, rules and
scoring in
a fun atmosphere. (1 hr.)
Advanced Jr. Tennis
Stars
Tuesdays 4-5:30 Fridays
4-5:30 pm
These children have usually had some previous instruction. They can
hit
ground strokes and serves and play from the baseline with reasonable
success. We will work on basic strokes from the baseline with
movement
and will work on rally skills, overheads, volleys, and doubles
positioning.
(1 ˝ hrs. )
Intermediates
Tuesdays 4-5:30 pm, Fridays 4-5:30pm
This class is for those players who are able to sustain a medium
pace
rally, know scoring and doubles positioning. We will work on adding
spin to the strokes. We will also introduce serve return, lob, drop
shot,
tie-breakers, and basic singles and doubles strategy. (1 1/2hrs.)
Teen Tune Up
Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm, Fridays 3:30-4:30 pm, Saturdays 12:30-1:30pm
This class is designed for teenagers with little or no tennis
experience
who are preparing to play High School tennis (1 hr.)

(Must have pro approval to participate in this program )
This program is for the player beginning to play USTA sanctioned
tournaments. There will be a strong emphasis on stroke production,
consistency, mental toughness, footwork, conditioning, and match
play
strategy. This program meets 2 days a week on Tuesday and Friday’s
4-6
pm. This program has a monthly fee which includes both class days,
free
walk on court time, as well as discounts on stringing and
re-gripping.
Select 1
(Must have pro approval to participate in this program)
This class is for our top junior players. Must be willing to enter
USTA
sanctioned tournaments and be serious about working on their game
to improve and be working towards achieving a Midwest Ranking. This
class meets 3 days a week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from
4-6 pm. This program has a monthly fee which includes all 3 days of
classes, and free walk on court time, as well as discounts on
racquet
stringing and re-gripping.
Nicks Future Stars
Mark your calendars now for the upcoming dates for this fun evening
of tennis for the Jr. tennis players. January 12, and February 9. Future Stars is a night of
competitive but fun tennis for ages 7 and up from 6-9 pm.
Participants
are grouped by Nick accordingly by levels and will compete against
players in their group. Top scores in each group will receive
trophies. Sign
ups are required and will be taken until noon on the day of the
event.
Cost for the evening is just $15 for members and $20 for non
members.

JUNIOR CLINICS
Our Jr. clinics are offered in 7 week sessions beginning Sept. 1
and running through the end of May. Individuals must sign up in
advance for each session
MUNCHKINS
This class is for 4-5 year olds (preschool/ kindergartner) with
little or no previous instruction. They will be working on hand-eye
coordination, racquet skills, basic strokes, and fun on court games.
(1/2 hr) Cost is $45 members, $65 non members.
Thurs. 12:30-1 pm Thurs. 6-6:30 pm
LITTLE TENNIS
This class is for the 6-7 year olds with little to no previous
instruction. They will be working on basic strokes including the
serve, basic movement skills and hand-eye coordination skills in a
fun environment. (1 hr.) Cost is $75 members, $110 non members.
Tues. 5:30-6:30 pm Sat. 9:30-10:30 am
JR TENNIS STARS (JTS)
This class is for 8-12 year olds and they will be working on all
the basic strokes, basic footwork, racquet skills, rules and scoring
in a fun atmosphere. Children are placed in groups based on their
ability. (1 hr. ) Cost is $75 members, $110 non members.
Tues. 4:30-5:30 pm Fri. 4:30-5:30 pm Sat. 11:30-12:30 pm
ADVANCED JR. TENNIS STARS (Adv. JTS)
These players have usually had some previous instruction. They
can hit ground strokes and serves and can play from the baseline
with reasonable success.. They will work on refining their basic
strokes, playing from the baseline with movement and will work on
rally skills, overheads, volleys, and doubles positioning. ( 1 ˝
hr.) Cost is $130 members, $180 non members.
Tues. 4-5:30 pm Fri. 4-5:30 pm
INTERMEDIATE
This clinic is for those players who can sustain a medium pace
rally and knows how to keep score, and knows doubles positioning.
They will focus on adding spin to their strokes. They will be
introduced to the serve return, lob, drop shot, tie-breakers and
basic singles and doubles strategy ( 1 ˝ hr. ) cost is $130 members,
$180 non members.

TEEN TUNE UP
This class is designed for teens with little tennis experience

SELECT 2 PROGRAM (Pro approval is needed for entry into this
program)
This program is held on Mon. and Weds. from 4-6 pm, and is
designed for those junior players who are committed to a more
intense program. These players are just beginning to play
tournaments and the emphasis is on stroke production, consistency,
footwork/conditioning, matchplay-strategy, and mental toughness. The
program runs monthly and is priced accordingly. Cost is:
Member $250 month or $40 daily
Non Member $350 month or $45 daily
SELECT 1 PROGRAM (Pro approval is needed for entry into this
program)
This program is held on Mon. Weds, and Thurs. from 4-6 pm and is
designed for the top juniors who are committed to and playing in
higher level tournaments. Emphasis is on stroke production,
consistency, footwork/conditioning, matchplay/strategy, and mental
toughness. The program runs monthly and is priced accordingly. Cost
is:
Member $325 month or $40 daily
Non Member $425 month or $45 daily
NICKS FUTURE STARS
Every 2nd Sat. night, Nick hosts an evening of match play for
the jr. tennis player ages 7 and up. Future Stars is a night of fun
tennis where participants are grouped by Nick according to levels
and will compete against players in their groups. Top scores in each
group will receive trophies. Sign ups are required and will be taken
until noon the day of the event. Cost for the evening is just $15

SUMMER TENNIS CAMPS
Summer camps will be offered for kids ages 4 -18 years of age.
The camps begin the week of June 9th and run for 9 one week
sessions. Prices vary depending on the number of weeks you choose.
All campers will receive one tennis camp T-shirt. Class sizes are
limited so sign up early to ensure your spot. Camps are held
Mon.-Thurs. 12-3 pm. Camp brochures will be available beginning
April 1. Following is a list of the camps offered:
Little Tennis (ages 4-7)
Junior Tennis Stars (JTS) (ages 8 and up)
Intermediate (ages 8 & up)
High School- Adv. Beg. (ages. 13 & up)

JUNIOR LEARN TO PLAY TENNIS
In addition to our summer tennis camps we will be offering
another choice this year. The Learn to Play Tennis program will run
for 8 weeks and includes 8 weeks of instruction and 4 weeks of match
play. The class times offered are:
Tues. 9-10 am 6/17-8/12 (no 7/1)
Thurs. 9-10 6/19-8/14 (no 7/3)
Sat. 11-12 6/14-8/9 (no 7/5)
There are 2 price options:
1. $175 which includes 8 weeks of instruction, 4 weeks of matchplay,
a t-shirt, and a jr. tennis racquet.
2. $125 which includes 8 weeks of instructions, 4 weeks of matchplay
and a t-shirt.
